As we wind down another busy school year and head into a well-deserved summer break, thank you for allowing us to grace your inbox this year with EduTech Insights.

We kick-started the year by taking a good, hard look at cybersecurity. Diving into your Google Security Score to align with the Ministry of Education’s minimum security guidelines, we set the groundwork for safer digital spaces. Followed by focusing on the powerful Investigation Tool within Google Workspace for Education Plus in March's issue.

As we moved towards the cooler months, in May’s issue, we shone a light on digital citizenship. Guardian Summaries in Google Classroom helped keep whānau in the loop, and the new Resources Tab offered teachers fresh ways to create and share interactive content.

In July, thanks to Gemini for Google Workspace, we explored the genuine excitement of AI in education. We highlighted how it could trim time-consuming tasks and open the door to more personalised learning experiences because who doesn’t love technology that makes life easier?

As we headed toward spring, in the September issue, we broadened our horizons with Copilot for those in the Microsoft sphere. We also celebrated a decade of Scratch Jr. Embracing coding as another language is the right step for future-ready learners.

Then, last month, as we started dreaming of summer, we highlighted the benefits of ChromeOS Flex and its ability to not only be environmentally friendly but also prove how it can help save thousands. This was all about sustainability and stretching those school budgets further by breathing new life into older devices, ensuring your tech goes the extra mile.
